Elsenburg Agricultural Training Institute (EATI): Bursaries 2022

Elsenburg Agricultural Training Institute (EATI) invites qualifying students to apply for Bursary Programme 2022 academic year.

Bursary Application Closing Date: 30 September 2021

The Elsenburg Agricultural Training Institute (EATI) are inviting students to apply for bursary funding for the 2022 academic year. The EATI bursary is intended for studies towards the following qualifications only:

  • BAgric Degree
  • Agriculture Diploma
  • Equine Studies

Successful candidates will be contacted before the end of November 2021 – should you not receive any feedback before the end January 2022, please regard your application as unsuccessful.

Please note: funding is limited and meeting the entry criteria does not automatically guarantee you will receive a bursary. Bursaries will be awarded according to the priorities set by EATI.

Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must have completed Matric or be currently in Matric
  • You must be studying or intend on studying full time towards one of the aforementioned EATI courses
  • You must NOT be in receipt of any other bursary awards with service obligations
  • Preference will be to students in financial need, previously disadvantaged students, students with disabilities and female students

Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):

  • ID document (certified copy)
  • Matric latest results, if currently in Matric (certified copy)
  • Matric certificate, if completed Matric (certified copy)
  • Full academic record, if currently at tertiary level (certified copy)
  • Qualification certificates (certified copies)
  • Parents/ guardians ID documents (certified copies)
  • Parents/ guardians proof of income (3 months recent payslips if employed/ sworn statement if unemployed/ proof of SASSA grant income/ death certificates if deceased)
  • Applicants 3 months bank statements
  • Parents/ guardians 3 months bank statements
